Whilst on a cruise in the Caribbean a couple of years ago, we came across a shop on the Island of St. Maarten, that was closing down everything was 50% off, I managed to get the Pusser's Rum enameled mug and three bottles of the Red Label Pussers Rum for $15.00, plus some other stuff, we regularly look for the same deal, but haven't found one and who knows when we will be able to cruise again, We just managed to get our sixth wedding anniversary, but feels like twenty four years, cruise in last year 29th February, The Covid ban hit the next day when we returned to Tampa. The cruise was great and the crew treated us royally, especially the last night with a special dinner at Teppanyaki's Restaurant. The chef threw a raw egg in the air caught it on the thin edge of his spatula and wrote on the hotplate.
We have switched our cruising allegiance to Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL), we get unlimited drinks all day, they even have Pusser's Rum and a spciality cocktail is the Painkiller, We have had our fair share of them. Last years cruises were transferred to this year, and just in case we can't do them, Sharon has provisionally booked them for 2022.
We have both had our two vaccinations, but we have to wait for the rest of the world to catch up. Florida re doing it right, health care workers and Nursing Homes first, then the over sixty fives and all at risk people.
Stay safe shipmates.
