Atlanta Class Light AA Cruiser USS San Diego pictured following her overhaul.She is sporting her Measure 33, Design 24d camouflage livery.In the background are Mahan Class Destroyer USS Cassin and Cleveland Class Light Cruiser USS Denver,Mare Island Navy Yard,April 9th 1944.

Atlanta Class Light AA Cruiser USS Juneau pictured ready for launching, at Federal Shipbuilding Company Shipyard, Kearny, New Jersey, October 25th 1941. She was Torpedoed and sunk by Japanese Submarine I-26 during Naval Battle of Guadalcanal on November 13th 1942.

Lead Ship, Light AA Cruiser USS Atlanta pictured fitting out at Federal Shipbuilding & Drydock Company Shipyards at Kearny, New Jersey on October 1st 1941....She was scuttled after severe damage in Naval Battle of Guadalcanal by Japanese Torpedo fire and friendly fire from USS San Francisco, November 13th 1942

Pacific War veteran, Atlanta Class Light AA Cruiser USS San Diego pictured under refit at Mare Island Navy Yard on November 1st 1945. She was sold in December 1960 for scrapping to Todd Shipyards, Seattle.
