More of BHR at various times......... :D I really like the one with the "Spad" landing; the South Vietnamese were flying those out of Da Nang when I had my lovely "vacation" in I Corps...... DFO

The fire was quite serious and was started by a parachute flare. 44 crewmen lost their lives..... :cry: However, she was repaired and continued to serve and fight with distinction. She was the last Essex and had been completed post war. She finally was sunk as a artificial reef........DFO
