A one off that was built by Italy and fought in Black Sea, where she was sunk. :o DFO

Well not a very history , lets hope the Russians do better with the remains eh Dennis ;)

The Soviets, Russians, Commies, whatever, love a good project.

In fact they even started at project 1, the Leningrad class leaders which preceeded the 'Blue Beauty', as Tashkent was known.

Amongst the earlier projects where Stalin and his murderers utilised Italian designs as the basis for their big Red fleet were...
Project 7 - Gnevnyi class destroyers and the subsequent 7U class.
Project 20 - This 'Blue Beauty' and her 3 projected sisters.
Project 26 - Kirov class cruisers.

And to this day the Project numeral system just keeps on and on to the extent that even the World's most advanced computers have not kept up.
