So, it looks as though 'PC' has just destroyed any sense of humour in the Wardroom, sad....

The woke brigade, et al, are intent on destroying humour generally, but they won't get any joy in the Wardroom :-)

Yes, Ivor runs the Wardroom victuals :-)
Currently, I am the sole moderator. Although the membership numbers look good (1,757), most of them were spammers and have been banned and 100 is more realistic number. The banned ones will be removed from the system in due course. The demise of the old WNSF happened quite quickly and Tim Lewin set up this Forum in memory of his father - Admiral of the Fleet Lord Terence Thornton Lewin of Greenwich KG GCB LVO DSC. We are grateful to Tim for enabling us to exchange views and keep abreast of things ashore and afloat.
Unfortunately, there has been no way to contact all of the members from the old Forum but we do find some of them from time to time.

Cheers Jim and Ivor. Big thanks to Tim Lewin too.
I've had a quick look around the forum, ships photo's and models. It looks like were starting from scratch here, so I'll dig out/locate my phots and repost them on this site in appropriate locations.
In the interim, the Mary Celeste must plod on as best she can. :D

Jack.

Afternoon Jack , glad to see you back on board , but the old crew have for a variety of reasons either left the ship or through personal differences sought different berth's .

We hear from our Dear Harry occasionally but he rarely pops in , but the Bish , El Tel , Missy, and of course our dear old departed Chief Stoker Sandy [R.I.P.] and QPR DAVE are no longer here to bait your every utterance , so its me and thee with our resident No 1 :|

I understand that the Bish is still around on Facebook , Clive [ Dreadnought] recently has remarried but alas does not visit us here .....so there it is regrettably, as I enjoyed the banter of our World Cruises in our old Flagship and our sales of home produced spirits from No.3 boiler ....happy days much lamented

Kind Regards Ivor
