RN Submarines: P or Parthian Class 1929

Unread post by jbryce1437 »

Six boats were built for the P or Parthian Class. The boats were designed for long range patrols in the Far East and were nearly identical to the previous O or Odin Class, except for the shape of the bow. Poseidon was sunk after colliding with a merchant ship off China and four others of the Class were war losses. Proteus was scrapped in 1946.
