The secret site, at Key West actually the most southern tip of the USA, it is a Naval Early Warning Station, Cuba is only 95 miles away, we have picked up Cuban illegals at sea onboard a cruise ship, They were handed over to the Coastguard and returned to Cuba.

Hi Barry , this is the first time I have had the pleasure of reading your collective memoirs of Victorious / Robin , and found them both informative and enjoyable , so many thanks for sharing them with us .

I know you were also aboard her as indeed was Karens Dad Chalky , but great to read of her background and history , so very Grateful to you .

USCGC Eagle pictured 'returning home' at Kiel Naval Base, May 10th 2019.
Built in Nazi Germany at Blohm & Voss Shipyards,Hamburg in 1936 as Kreigsmarine Naval Training Ship 'Horst Wessel', she was ceded to the US as part of War Reparations post World War 2. Since then, she serves as a Training Ship for cadets of the US Coast Guard.
