Wickes Class Destroyer USS Delong pictured at Half Moon Bay. On December 1st 1921 she went aground in a heavy fog at Half Moon Bay. On December 17th she was salvaged and towed to Mare Island Navy Yard.She was deemed too expensive to repair and was decommissioned March 18th 1922,her hulk sold for scrapping on September 25th 1922.
