forgot to add, the photo of Belfast and Corunna laid up at Portsmouth with Rame Head between is significant, Belfast was TTL's first ship, Corunna was his first command, and Corunna's wheel is now in the Admiral's Flat below the QD of Belfast in the emergency steering position.

Well I have only visited her for a few hours as you know Tim , but both felt a bond with her having heard and been told so much about her over the years from Chalky , the Forum and you ...........It must seem like a second home to you 8-)

Town Class Light Cruiser HMS Belfast pictured post her modernisation refit in 1959,seen during her work up in the Plymouth area after a refit lasting more than three years at Devonport Dockyard.
