A recent photo of HMS Belfast is a Town-class light cruiser that was built for the Royal Navy.
She is now permanently moored as a museum ship on the River Thames in London and is operated by the Imperial War Museum.

Wintry Weather Experienced by the Cruiser HMS Belfast during Her Patrols in Northern Waters.

Christmas card scene on board the BELFAST.
Though the guns looked so picturesque in their white coverings "their bark and their bite" were still ready for any enemy craft.

Original Devonport Dockyard as fitted blueprint for Gloucester Sub-Class, Town Class Light Cruiser HMS Gloucester dated January 27th 1939.....She was sunk off Crete by German aircraft on May 22nd 1941....The Germans picked up the survivors and brought them to Kythira. Of the 807 men aboard at the time of her sinking, only 85 survived to reach shore; two more subsequently died after being taken into captivity, one in 1941 and another in 1945.
