Finally in service with only 1 more being built. Apparently it was decided to cancel other planned units...?? A rather different LST type design; wonder why the class was stopped at 2 units...co$t?? Lack of fund$?? DFO

Ivan Gren Class Landing Ship RFS Pyotr Morgunov pictured fitting out at Yantar Shipyards at Kaliningrad on May 13th 2019,she is on schedule for factory sea trials commencing this coming June.

Before her "launch", second unit of the pair............. I wonder just how, with that bow "bulb" they can beach themselves to unload? Or can they??? The extended bow ramp does not look over long......... DFO
