Launch day for Tegetthoff Class Dreadnought Battleship SMS Szent Istvan,She was built at the Ganz-Danubius Shipyard in Fiume, where she was laid down in January 1912. Launched two years later in 1914, construction on Szent István was delayed due to the smaller shipyards in Fiume, and further delayed by the outbreak of World War I in July 1914. She was finally commissioned into the Austro-Hungarian Navy in December 1915.
Armed with a main battery of twelve 12.0 in guns in four triple turrets, Szent István was assigned to the 1st Battleship Division of the Austro-Hungarian Navy upon her commissioning. Alongside the other ships of her Class, she was stationed out of the Austro-Hungarian naval base at Pola. Szent István's commissioning into the fleet came too late for her to participate in the Bombardment of Ancona following Italy's declaration of war on Austria-Hungary in May 1915, and she saw little combat for the rest of the war due to the Otranto Barrage, which prohibited the Austro-Hungarian Navy from leaving the Adriatic Sea.
In June 1918, in an bid to earn safer passage for German and Austro-Hungarian U-boats through the Strait of Otranto, the Austro-Hungarian Navy attempted to break the Barrage with a major attack on the strait. This attack was to be spearheaded by all four ships of the Tegetthoff Class, but it was abandoned after Szent István and her sister ship, Tegetthoff were attacked by Italian Motor Torpedo Boats on the morning of June 10th. While Tegetthoff was unharmed during the attack, Szent István was struck by two torpedoes launched from MAS-15, capsizing roughly three hours later off the island of Premuda. She is the only Battleship whose sinking was filmed during World War I.

Here is all 4 of the class! They looked quite impressive, but contained numerous design flaws..... :(

Two of the A-H armored cruisers are also visible.

The second pic shows 3 of the units at Pola in 1917. DFO

Shouldn't this be in the Austro-Hungarian Navy thread (or at least in the "Other Navies" section) rather than the German Navy section?

Launch Day for Lead Ship, SMS Radetzky at Stabilimento Tecnico Triestino Shipyards,Trieste on July 3rd 1909.
They were a group of three Semi-Dreadnought Battleships built for the Austro-Hungarian Navy between 1907 and 1910. All ships were built by the STT Shipyards in Trieste. They were the last Pre-Dreadnoughts built by the Austro-Hungarians, and the penultimate class of any type of Austro-Hungarian Battleship completed. The Class comprised three ships: Radetzky, Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand, and Zrínyi. They were armed with four 12.0 in guns in two twin turrets and eight 9.4 in guns in four twin turrets; the heavy secondary guns set the Radetzky-Class ships apart from other Pre-Dreadnought type Battleships.
Commissioned only a few years before the outbreak of World War I, the ships had limited service careers. All three of the Battleships conducted training cruises in the Mediterranean Sea in 1912. In 1913, they took part in an international naval demonstration in the Ionian Sea that protested the Balkan Wars. After Italy declared war on Austro-Hungary and the other Central Powers in 1915, the three Radetzky-Class ships bombarded coastal targets in the Adriatic Sea. After 1915, their participation in the war became minimal. All three ships were handed over to Italy as War Reparations after the end of the war, and broken up for scrap between 1920 and 1926.
