Further to the first post on this thread, HMS Tyne (1940) was a Hecla Class Destroyer Depot ship built by Scotts Shipbuilding at Greenock. She served mainly at Scapa Flow until 1944 and transferred to Portsmouth for Operation Neptune and returned to Scapa afterwards. She was allocated to the British Pacific Fleet train. She spent some time in reserve at Harwich and then took part in the Korean War, returning to the UK in 1954. From 1964 she was used as an Accommodation Ship at Devonport and was scrapped in 1972.

HMS Vienna was built by John Brown at Clydebank in 1929 as a passsenger ship for the London & North Eastern Railway Co. She was purchased by the Admiralty in 1941 and, as HMS Vienna, became a Coastal Forces Depot ship. She was withdrawn from service in 1944 and reverted to Troop carrying between Harwich and Hook of Holland.
