Further to the recent posts about anemometers carried in the RN aircraft carriers; HMS Prince of Wales thread - this post relates to the 12 monthly change of same on RFA Argus, see:-

RFA Argus @RFAArgus · 43m
The maintenance never ends. Twelve monthly Anemometer replacements. You’ll need a steady hand, never mind a swinging bucket. #SystemEngineering #headforheights #meninabucket @RFAHeadquarters

Presumeably so Ivor; perhaps these replacement cup anemometers are examples of a set having been previously refurbished/recalibrated.

Thanks Harry , as after reading your excellent post on these I had the impression that they were a fit and forget item of serious importance to the ships operational ability and seemed to be solid state and from the. " fit and forget stable " , so forgive my lack of knowledge on them .
