Sister MISSOURI is probably best known to US public due to Japanese surrender aboard her. Here are a few much later views, including a BIG 16" shell in flight!! :o DFO

The pair I saw thru the SMOG at Long Beach summer 1990........DFO

Thank you Don , thought they might be but wasn't sure , and thought they might be some gear used specific to the local or Buoys of some sort .
