was anyone we know there for the visit by Ashanti F118 to Ghana in I think, 1970??

Type 81 or Tribal Class Frigate HMS Zulu pictured c1965...Zulu was built at Alexander Stephen and Sons Shipyard, at Govan, she was launched on July 3rd 1962 and commissioned on April 17th 1964.......Indonesia bought Zulu on April 16th 1984, renaming the Frigate KRI Martha Khristina Tiyahahu. After a refit at Vosper Thornycroft's Woolston Shipyard, the ship commissioned into the Indonesian Navy on May 2nd 1985. The Frigate was struck from the Indonesian Naval Vessel Register in 2000.

Type 81 or Tribal Class Frigate HMS Ashanti pictured c 1967..Ashanti was built by Yarrow Shipbuilding Yards at Scotstoun and was the first commissioned RN warship to be equipped with combined steam and gas (COSAG) engines. She was launched on March 9th 1959 and commissioned on November 23rd 1961. She was used for Westland Wasp HAS1 trials in 1963, She was sunk as a target in 1988 by the Submarines Sceptre and Spartan.
