thanks everyone, I had a message from our Norwegian friends showing a tombstone of Warburton-Lee, killed in the battles for Narvik where he is rightly regarded as a hero. He died on 10th April 1940, I was born 7 years later. Every day is an anniversary of something important somewhere.....

Thankyou my lovely friends for the birthday wishes. This will be one birthday I will always remember in “Lockdown”... will definitely make up for it when we are allowed out.

Many thanks for the good wishes, I feel like I have achieved a milestone, when I joined the Andrew in 1956, I never thought I would see 80.
We are keeping safe and well, I had a short break from golf, I thought they would close the course and my membership expired 31st March, I renewed 1st May and play Monday Wednesday and Friday, this Friday we have an Armed Forces Competition, we are almost 100% Veterans.
We are suffering cruising withdrawal we were due to fly to Seattle May 20th for an eleven day Alaska cruise, Sharon has rebooked it for next May.
I trust you and your family are keeping well and safe.
