D Day 80

Unread post by Pelican »

Ministry of Defence
In just 50 days’ time the whole nation will come together to remember the sacrifices made on D-Day and thank the veterans of the Normandy Landings.
Here’s how the Armed Forces will lead the commemorations.

Sir Humphrey
Who'd have thought that scrapping, without replacement nearly 50% of your tactical airlift fleet, and then incorrectly claiming the RAF had more airlift capacity than at any point since WW2 would backfire.
Another example of the devasting loss of C130J.
