Armoured Cruiser FS Jules Michelet pictured at Toulon in 1913. laid down in 1904 at Lorient,Brittany and completed in 1908. She was a development of the Léon Gambetta Class of Armoured Cruisers, and was the sole representative of her type.She served during the First World War being eventually sunk as a target in 1937.
