The Israel Defense Force appears to have begun the Construction of a Pier in the Northern Gaza Strip which will eventually likely Connect to the Temporary Floating-Dock that will be Established off the Coast by the U.S. Army; the Dock and Pier once Built will hopefully allow Humanitarian Aid from Cyprus to reach the Palestinian People much Quicker.

The construction of a pier or jetty near Gaza city is visible in new satellite imagery released by @Maxar.

Sir Humphrey reposted
Can we just take a moment and acknowledge the skills of the US Army mariners who are going to sail LCU 2000s, like Monterrey across the Atlantic?
These craft have a freeboard of only a few feet, blunt nose, flat bottomed and will take nearly a month to reach Gaza.

[In the same way that our RN crews went over to the US during WW II and sailed back small LCTs, like the one on display on Southsea sea front. They then sailed them to the Med for the Italian landings and later back round for D-Day.]

Prior to the announcement that Israeli and U.S. Officials were considering the use of Private Military Companies (PMCs) to provide Protection and assist in the Distribution of Humanitarian Aid in the Gaza Strip, it was stated by the BBC that the U.S. Military would be utilizing Fogbow PMC, a Company which was Founded and is Operated by Former-Military and Intelligence Officials, to Transfer the Humanitarian Aid from the Temporary Floating-Dock to the Shore and eventually Distribution Sites across the Gaza Strip.
