They do seem to have been very well armed, in typical Russian/Sov fashion. Given their rather small size they pack a wollop! Altho unlike most other new Russian warships, like the Proj. 22160s for example, they are not particularly sleek. Perhaps different designers?

Either of them certainly have a vastly different concept of weapons fit than the USN's much LARGER classes of LCS with 1 57mm popgun........ DFO

Both types are heavily armed, small corvettes. However, given the sleek design of the Pr. 22160s versus the "old" look of the other....I lean to the 22160! Built a tiny (1:1536) model of that type; literally was hard to hold while sanding!! DFO

WHAT !.......... at the rates you lot charge .....look at your aeroplanes and what you charge when you corner the market

By the way ....I know where theres a ex floating dock going cheap [ sold as seen ] apparently it needs the Electrics sorting out once you have pumped it out and the dockside gen set renewing other than that one previous owner

Project 22800 Corvettes, codenamed Karakurt is a new Missile Corvette Class under construction for the Russian Navy. The term каракурт, karakurt literally means Latrodectus tredecimguttatus, the European black widow spider.
The new class is intended to be a more seaworthy, blue water complement to the Buyan-M Class Corvettes, which had been designed for the littoral zone and are currently serving in Russia's Caspian Flotilla, Baltic Fleet and Black Sea Fleet. The Karakurt-Class Corvettes are armed with the Kalibr-NK long range Cruise Missile and the P-800 Oniks medium-range Anti-Ship Missile.
