Battle of Snake Island - February 2022

Unread post by designeraccd »

Certainly czar vlad will "HONOR" the heroic Roooshunn Navy CG MOSKVA and her corvette consort as the pair CRUSHED opposition from the 13 Ukrainian troops manning the small island as his military invaded Ukraine. The 2-5.1" guns of MOSKVA plus the single 3.9" on the modern corvette obliterated all buildings and life on the island when the 13 troopers refused to surrender.

Truly a naval battle that will go down in the annals of daa rooshunn naaayvee.

Here is a link describing the "battle":

With the Russian capabilities and skills in spreading lies there is no doubt the clash will be presented as something like Normandy landing.
As for the answer of this sqad of the Ukrainian soldiers it is translated properly with use of the "f" word but actually the pharse used is more poetic (like most of the military language) , actually identical in Polish and make me smiling.
Some reports say they survived but their words will be remebered forever like so many other used in such a circumstances.

Here is a shot of BYKOV returning-apparently undamaged-to Sevastopol 16 march, '22. So much for being hit/damaged/sunk. :o Propaganda flows forth on both sides. DFO
