Their old cruisers were "floating hotels", too....ventilation was needed! :o

IIRC, this ancient cruiser ended up in the Polish Navy post WW1. DFO

Must be expecting trouble with all those tugs in attendance :roll: and are those square scuttles or cannon ports ......thanks so much for all these excellent photo's

I see by your photo Dennis what you mean , perhaps they were at a point of transition in design ;)
