The first shot shows the servo fitted below the deck now installed and the battery alongside it .

You need to fit the equipment as soon as practical to ensure that your scheme will work or you end up gutting out what you have taken care to build .

The second shows the scale stern decorations fitted to the outside which were purchased and at the same scale to the model, and quickly covered to avoid damage and overspray during the coming build .

The model has progressed well and is nearing completion , and I must apologies for not posting earlier but have had a lot of trouble transferring photos D49C20A4-C403-4903-A69E-DBD06228F441.jpeg

She will have rotating fore and main mast' s actuated by a large servo mounted in the bowels of the hull and this will turn the masts to port or starboard as required

Here's a few "in progress" shots of her build The servo shown is a real beast and has a 65 torque[kg/cm] and is firmly secured and when activated turns both masts effortlessly and smoothly ......

As you can see the deck is fitted and bedded in CTI to ensure a watertight joint with the hull ,
the rudder servo is fitted beneath the poop deck with twin actuators , and the prop shaft case / motor is sandwiched between two bulkheads to ensure watertight integrity and all servo / power cables are run separately on either side of the hull to minimise interference during operation .

The hull is in "Nelson chequer" as you can see , and the sails are braced with .5mm wire stiffeners to brace and maintain the optimum angle .
For the purest amongst you the boats are backed on a cover to help deter water entry whilst sailing and prevent the hull becoming water logged .

She has been on the water to check out the buoyancy aspect and a screw in ballast rod is fitted made up from two 30 mm AA practice shells butted together and held on a 300mm shaft which maintains a correct attitude and the lower gun deck sits above the waterline .

As you can see she seems to be stable enough .......

To bring you up to date here she is having her bottom painted with dark copper paint

Thank you Jim I will take that as a compliment being the first model that I have made entirely from admiralty plans alone [ except the stern imitation " gold embellishments " ...no kit... or prefabricated sections
