Destroyers: Grom Class

Grom Class Destroyer ORP Błyskawica pictured in the finishing dock at Southampton in November 1937.....She was the second of two Grom (Thunderbolt) Class Destroyers built for the Polish Navy by J. Samuel White, of Cowes, in 1935–37. The Grom Class were two of the most heavily armed and fastest Destroyers in World War II. In May 1976 she became a museum ship, part of the Naval Museum at Gdynia.

Pride of the PLN, ORP Blyskawica returned to her honorable place at the pier in Gdynia but not without small mishap.
Being moored she hit the pier with her bowcausing some scratches and some one inch deep bent .
The official has estimated that "such things happen" which is true as for the ships in a port.
Attached the forward crew room being restored and available for visitors as well as a scratch on the Blyskawica nose.
I was not able to find the current number of visitors on the ship's deck but as for 2005 it was 5 millions of them.
