7 820 NAS MERLIN HM2 TO EMBARK ON R08 FOR CSG21 TODAY 27/04/21

820 NAS has tweeted this morning showing their 7 Merlin HMA2 aircraft that will embark later today for CSG21 on R08 HMS Queen Elizabeth. At least one ac is fitted with CrowsNest ASAC radar.

Updated map of outward leg of CSG21 deployment including latest information in public domain. smrmoorhouse has confirmed the CSG will return home via Suez and the Mediterranean.

Navy Lookout

HMS QNLZ being prepared to sail soon. Final loading of stores, food and ammunition which must then be secured for sea.
Will go onto COVID-secure state after sailing for exercise StrikeWarrior and will depart for CSG21 deployment in around 3 weeks.
