HMS Dauntless

Completes de-ammunitioning this morning. Heading for dry-dock and a Fleet Time Support Period.
The Power Improvement Project (engine upgrade) was proven a success on recent deployment but the ship needs other work done.
No Type 45 immediately available to relieve HMS Duncan.

HMS Diamond recently fired a Sea Viper missile at an attack drone heading for merchant shipping.

Here's how that would have looked.
This footage was filmed when the Type 45 Destroyer tested her missile system off the Outer Hebrides for the first time.
