Russian Friends
Two sad losses in such a short time Sergey Aprelev and Yekaterina Yermolina both Champions of the Polar Convoys Organisations. Sergey was the first Russian Naval officer I ever met, it was During 'Dervish75.' I could not have chosen better. We stayed in contact ever since. Yekaterina was also at Dervish75, she later contacted me, and I gave her some 'convoy' paintings to help with producing a brochure type memento for the school museum. Both will be greatly missed by people all over the world. Deep condolences to their families and colleagues
