Aircraft Carrier: CV-001A
It looks like the flight deck has been cleared (2 mockups on deck in picture), she's been fueled; appears that she is about to leave for her second set of sea trials. Note the differences on her island compared to CV-16.

Fine looking ships and they look the part. Hope they are only going to use them to show the flag

Re: CV-001A
Well lets hope your right Jim , she certainly looks the part , and I am sure the Chinese Navy will do their best to portray her in a Sabre rattling role in the very near future .
Thanks for the update Dennis , and the effort to inform us all .

Re: CV-001A
Meanwhile it appears that the PLAN's first carrier is getting her air control area rebuilt to be like the one aboard CV-001A. So far no updating of the 4 radar screens to be like those 001A carries. She still carries four that appear to be like those carried by 052C DDGs, while the second carriers' appear to be like the units carried by 052D and 055 DDGs. DFO

A clear comparison photo has "surfaced" that shows the rework on the Liaoling's island compared to CV-001A.... DFO
