I came across this old postcard from Malta, can anyone Identify the cruiser please.

Judging by that mooring cable it must be a biggen

Many thanks another mystery put to bed. Then when I filed the photograph, this one showed up. I think this is the same class as the last and possibly HMS GLASGOW, which had four Carley Rafts slung in the same place on the port side - I also had a copy of the picture above in my Glasgow folder.
This is Glasgow in 1946 at Dar-es-Salaam
