History
HMS M33 is a M29 Class monitor built Workman Clark, Belfast for Harland and Wolff in 1915. She was designed for coastal bombardment and saw action in the Mediterranean and later saw action in Russian in 1919. She became a minelaying training ship in 1925 and was renamed HMS Minerva and later saw service as a fuelling hulk and boom defence workshop. In 1939 she was renamed again as Hulk C23 and became a floating office in 1946.
She is now part of the National Historic Fleet at Portsmouth and you can find information about how to plan a visit here.
