After the announcement, I am sorry but this Christmas there is no way that I am not seeing family and friends. You can do what you like, but I will be seeing them.
So, on Christmas Day, the following family will be at the table......
Auntie Stella & Uncle Jameson, with cousin Bailey, Malibu & Smirnoff, & the twins Gin & Tonic,
Scottish cousins Johnny Walker and Glen Moray, & from across the pond, bringing some old fashioned southern comfort with them my old cousins, Jack Daniels and Jim Beam,
My French mate Remy Martin & his friend Pernod, my Spanish mate Jose Cuevro & his cousin Martini, & Bianco, & her daughter Tequila my Greek friends Ouzo & Sambuca,
My friends Brandy, Fosters, Snowball & mickey slim,
My Neighbours Captain Morgan & the Grants, the Bells, & the Cointreau's, & the Henneseys,
Uncle Charlie cant make an appearance though.....not good around the kids... although Auntie Stella is on a warning!!

Wishing all of our members and their families a very Merry Christmas.
I sincerely hope that we can celebrate next Christmas in the more traditional manner, in the company of our families and loved ones.
Take care and stay safe.

What a Christmas Day, a one that I will never forget.

Today is not a good day. I decided to go horse riding this morning,
something I have not done in many years. It turned out to be a big mistake!
I got on the horse and started out slowly, but then it went a little faster;
before I knew it, I was going as fast as the horse could go.
I couldn't take the pace and fell off, but caught my foot in the stirrup with
the horse dragging me up and down. It wouldn't stop.

Thank goodness the manager at ASDA came out and
unplugged the machine. But he had the nerve to
take the rest of my loose change so I wouldn't
attempt to ride the Elephant.

Merry Christmas to you all.

Likewise Jim , its been a crapy year generally, with little to recommend it along with 4 funerals with family members [ none of which were covid related ] and poor health for both of us but are we down "only when we sober up " .

The Forum seems to be a shadow of its former self , but look in now and then instead of being a permanent contributor .

Kind regards Ivor and Karen .

Likewise Ivor . I look in now and again to catch up but the numbers seem to be dwindling , more chance of finding rocking horse manure than a lot of the old guys .

Special Christmas wishes to you and the Shoreham Girl

Heard from Jackdusty [Barry] yesterday all well in Miami , Don has got me ecard in Hawaii and I had a very nice update from Dee in Oz .

So all that remains is to wish all our lookins a Very Merry Christmas and Hope for a Better 2022 . Stay Safe everyone and as Captain Tom said "Tomorrow will be a better Day"

Feliz Navidad to all our Spanish Speaking Shipmates wherever they are .

Merry Christmas to forum members and their family members ... a difficult year in this household but we have survived thus far. Sorry about lack of posts from me but time really does not permit except to browse and read some of the posts by others. Take care folks and try to stay safe.

All the best to you all
