HMS Prince of Wales beat her 30-day notice to sail by 22 days.

This is not a failure
US carrier Eisenhower was a day later than expected, too.

8 F-35Bs from 617 Sqn have embarked on HMS Prince of Wales for Exercise Steadfast Defender...hardly worth the effort of putting to sea!

An 617 Sqdn RAF F-35B launches from HMS Prince of Wales during Exercise Steadfast Defender 24.
