F-35 accident on board HMS QNLZ (November 2021) covered in the final episode of BBC Two Chris Terrill Documentary "Warship: Tour of Duty". (Sunday 2100). Pilot "Hux" suffered cuts and bruises from the ejection.

HMS QNLZ sails from Portsmouth early next week for work up and operational sea training period ahead of deployment later in the year.

One of HMS QNLZ three passenger transfer boats embarked into the ship vertically through the sponsons. Intended for use when the carrier cannot enter a port and must lie at anchor.

HMSQNLZ running diesel engines with refuelling barge alongside ahead of departure in next few days for another FOST period - ahead of main deployment after summer leave.

The first female FDO on a QE Class carrier has brought on the first of our aircraft as we make preparations to sail. Flying jets and helos, the next two weeks will prove our Carrier Strike capability as we prepare for our CSG23 deployment.

RFA Tide Force has been steaming up and down the coast off Sunderland all week, rumour suggests that she is awaiting the arrival of HMSQNLZ. I took this photo of her sailing past Roker Pier tonight.
