RNAS Stretton - HMS Blackcap
Was an airfield in the close to the village of Stretton, south of Warrington, in Cheshire Englalnd.

Many thanks for starting this section Harry. I was aware that there was a great abundance of Naval Air Stations over the years, but I was surprised at the actual number when I did a
search and saw the results.

Yep, that's true Jim ..... and some with very curious names eg HMS Tern in the Orkney Islands, has a very interesting/unusual RNAS name (actually the name of a nearby village) !!!!
