Re: Information Required Please
Don't think it's an official Royal Navy badge. Could have been designed by an engine room petty officer (crossed anchors and ER). You can get anything made these days.

Jim, I thought it looked like crossed anchors and EIIR - just my tuppence worth, as you say anything can be made these days.jbryce1437 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 25, 2019 10:47 pm Don't think it's an official Royal Navy badge. Re: Information Required Please
You are right H. It is most likely a custom made blazer badge for a former Petty Officer.Little h wrote: ↑Thu Jul 25, 2019 11:34 pmJim, I thought it looked like crossed anchors and EIIR - just my tuppence worth, as you say anything can be made these days.jbryce1437 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 25, 2019 10:47 pm Don't think it's an official Royal Navy badge. Hi David
I have had a request via the website from a daughter of an Instructor at Ganges in 1950, his name was:
Charles Harry Swann Price
Sadly he passed away last year but going through his odds & ends they found a cap with this badge on, any idea what it is please?
Phil [The Webmster of HMS Ganges Association]
Any info, suggestions, thoughts welcome.
