A Dutch built gunboat from pre-war. Heavily armed units. :o DFO

Here is the earlier VAN GALEN being salvaged by the Germans. She was cut up for scrap. DFO

N Class Destroyer HNLMS Van Galen pictured at Amsterdam on February 25th 1951....She was built at William Denny & Brothers Shipyards, Dumbarton as HMS Noble (G84), but was commissioned into the Royal Netherlands Navy shortly after completion in 1942.
