Royal Fleet Auxiliary ratings, members of the RMT union have joined their officer colleagues in voting in favour of industrial action in dispute over poor pay offer.
There was a 90% 'Yes' vote on a 55% turnout.
NOTE: RFA personnel deployed on active operations are not permitted to strike.

Percentage of women in RFA reaches double digits

In a recent query to the Ministry of Defence, Shadow Secretary of State for Defence, John Healey MP, requested detailed information on the gender composition of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) over the past fourteen years.
The response, provided by Andrew Murrison MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Defence, highlights a slow but steady increase in the number of women serving in the RFA.

Royal Navy: Falklands repair ship RFA Diligence which was Portsmouth fixture is sent to Turkey for recycling

A Royal Fleet Auxiliary Ship which played a role in The Falklands War and The Gulf War has been sent to Turkey to be recycled.
