Soviet K Class Submarines K-56 and K-53 pictured at Liepāja, Latvia in 1946.... K-53 was stricken on March 11th 1960....K-56 was sunk during nuclear tests on October 16th 1957.

Here is the X-ZHANDOV being towed out of Sevastopol for scrapping in Alang, India........1991. ;) Also, a photo of her in earlier days after her modernization. DFO
