Modified Leander Class Light Cruiser HMAS Sydney pictured on February 10th 1941 as she arrives at East Circular Quay against the backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, after returning from the Mediterranean Sea and service with the 7th Cruiser Squadron. Visible on Sydney's port side is the geometric, dazzle paint scheme that was painted on immediately after the Cape Spada action against Italian Giussano Class Light Cruiser, Bartolomeo Colleoni The arrival of this battle-weary ship was recorded by Cinesound and Fox Movietone, both of whose vans can be seen in the foreground
