C Class Light Cruisers HMS Calcutta with sister HMS Cairo pictured at Charlestown Navy Yard in 1924...Cairo was sunk during Operation Pedestal by the Italian Submarine Axum, August 1942. Calcutta was sunk by Ju-88 bombers 100 miles north of Alexandria, June 1941.

The 2nd Cruiser Squadron consisting of, C Class Light Cruisers HMS Calliope, Comus, Cambrian and Canterbury pictured arriving at Lisbon in 1927.

The Grand Fleet pictured at anchor at Scapa Flow c1917 viewed from Caroline Sub-Class, C Class Light Cruiser HMS Cordelia..to the right is another C class Cruiser, either HMS Calliope or HMS Champion.
