Russian Submarine Salvage Ship IRN Volkhov (Re-named Kommuna) pictured on her launch day at Putilov Company Shipyards,St Petersburg on November 17th 1913 and as RFS Kommuna in the present day.

The world's oldest Naval vessel in active service,Submarine Salvage Ship RFS Kommuna launched in 1915 for the Czarist Navy.

Submarine Salvage Ship RFS Kommuna pictured at the Navy Day parade in Sevastopol earlier this week. Laid down in November 1912 at the Putilov Works Shipyard, Saint Petersburg and commissioned on July 14th 1915, she is currently the oldest warship still in active service.
