I have just been perusing some of the pages from the old WNSF and came across a link to a PDF version of a 519 page book entitled THE DEFEAT OF THE ENEMY ATTACK ON SHIPPING 1939-45 - A STUDY OF POLICY AND OPERATIONS, published in 1957 by the Historical Section of the Admiralty.
Some light reading if you are sick of counting sheep.
