Lead Ship, Light Cruiser HMS Tiger pictured on entry to Cardiff on October 21st 1966, on the day of the Aberfan disaster (collapse of a colliery spoil tip). Her crew will assist with with the rescue operations.

Lead Ship, Light Cruiser HMS Tiger.....Wave Class Fleet Tanker RFA Wave Chief....County Class Guided Missile Destroyer HMS London....Atlantic Ocean, during a goodwill cruise to South America in 1965....Leander Class ASW Frigate HMS Penelope is trailing astern.

Lead Ship, Light Cruiser HMS Tiger in her post conversion role as a 'Helicopter and Command Cruiser' (IMHO completely ruined her looks), pictured at HMNB Portsmouth in 1977.
