WORLD UCKERS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022
H.M.S. Ganges From Wally Blagden
IT'S ARRIVED!! the 'TACKY TWO' after a call by the RNA for someone to make a replica of the 'TAKU CUP' an uckers trophy last won 80 years ago during WW2 on the submarine HMS TAKU by Stoker Jenkins. The call was answered by ex Chief 'chippy' Graham Easson-Basset. What a fabulous job? The only thing we have to decide now, do we kick it around the 'messdeck' before its's presented to the winner of this years World Uckers Championships held in Pompey Dockyard in October? Answers on a postcard...please.

H.M.S. Ganges ~ Wally Blagden
In true 'messdeck' style two more trophies have come to light thanks to ebay, three old cups, for couple of quid, polished up with 'bluebell' and we have one for the bessed dressed uckers team, and one for 'snake eyes all out' at this years World UCKERS Championships 29th October Pompey Dockyard 32 team players, 64 single players. Did I mention the Pusser's rum?

HMS GLOUCESTER
The Last Voyage of the Gloucester: Norfolk’s Royal Shipwreck, 1682
On 6 May 1682, a warship carrying the future King of England and Scotland ran aground in heavy seas off the coast of Great Yarmouth. Within an hour the vessel sank, causing many lives to be lost, and for over 300 years, the wreck and its contents lay buried on the seabed.
