Schnellboot S130 - Restoration

I talked with the Naval Historian at Plymouth University yesterday . He actually lives on a boat at the Millbrook Marina adjacent to the shed housing the S130 and says she is still as I last saw her about three years ago . It was said last year that Kevin Wheatcroft was still committed to the restoration but funding had been a problem [£5M] , he also said at that time that if it was not forthcoming by Summer of 2018 that he intended to finance it himself . Sadly this does not seem to have materialised as she is locked in the shed with nothing going on .

Sad really but I live in hope that this project will go through and we see the last of these boats back on the water..... I think she would be a big draw here in the UK and in Germany .
