Lead Ship, Battleship HMS King George V pictured on May 17th 1942, in Gladstone Graving Dock at Liverpool after ramming and sinking Tribal Class Destroyer HMS Punjabi with the loss of 49 of her crew, on May 1st. It will take roughly 2 months to repair extensive damage to her bow.

King George V Class Battleship HMS Duke of York is cheered as she returns to Scapa Flow after the sinking of Scharnhorst at the Battle of North Cape a few days earlier, January 1st 1944.
