Duca degli Abruzzi Class Light Cruiser ITS Giuseppe Garibaldi pictured in April 1964.She served in the Regia Marina during World War II. After the war she was retained by the Marina Militare and upgraded. She was built by CRDA, at Stabilimento Tecnico Triestino Shipyards Trieste in 1936.Decommissioned in 1953, she was converted between 1957 and 1961, at the La Spezia Shipyards, into a Guided Missile Cruiser.She was decommissioned in 1971 and scrapped the following year.

Giussano Class Light Cruiser RM Alberico da Barbiano pictured under refit at La Spezia in 1935...She was sunk at the Battle of Cape Bon on December 13th 1941.
