Here are 2 more taken over and by North Island. The little seaplane is a reproduction for the USN's 100th Anniv. of Naval Aviation. The other, of course, are the USN's demo team, the Blue Angeles flying over for the 100th Anniversary.
I remember "rubber necking" while at MCRD boot camp to see what carriers were in. My D.I. caught me once; NOT good! Little privates in training were NOT to be interested in the USN's ships!! DFO
