Submarines: Improved Kilo Class

Improved Kilo Class diesel electric Submarine RFS Krasnodar pictured returning to Sevastopol from a mission to the Mediterranean.

Well........ they cant be that bad as they seem to have sold enough of them as I understand

I'm losing track!! Is this the same as a LADA class boat?? The hulls do NOT seem to be exactly the same? Islands either....DFO

After looking at my own pictures...duhh! Obviously 2 DIFFERENT classes. Going back to the KILOs, here are 2 pics of torpedo loading........DFO

Ahh nasal loading .....are they equipped with aft torpedo's :?: ..........just trying to think of a phrase for their rear loading apertures :roll:

The second unit of the Project 885 class has now been finished. Apparently, from the available data, these are very modern, capable SSGN boats. DFO

Probably a wee bit expensive compared to a improved Pr. 636.3 KILO!!

Blimey.......... you certainly get around with your " Box Brownie" .......last time you were out was in China :o ..


The first photo shows a nice turn out , but the second a right hodge podge with a right mix of vessels ...whats the one behind please Dennis :?:
